The sump pump in this kit is a 1/3 HP submersible pump that can move up to 48 gallons of water per minute. It is made of corrosion resistant thermoplastic and comes with an adjustable tethered float switch. This switch has a piggy back plug, allowing the pump to turn on and off automatically. The pump also has a thermally protected motor that is energy efficient and has a long life. It features a thermoplastic impeller, a 1-1/2 inch FIP discharge, and a 10-foot waterproof power cord.
